How it works
Questions
How long does a transfer take?
A cash sale often completes in two to four weeks from the MOU. With a mortgage on either side, allow four to eight weeks.
Can I complete from abroad?
Yes. A power of attorney, signed and attested in your country or at a UAE embassy, lets a representative sign at the trustee office for you.
Who pays which costs?
By custom the buyer pays the transfer fee and the seller pays for the NOC and any mortgage release. The MOU sets out the split for your sale.
